"Can I send a friend over to look at the apartment?"
Because I am not in the city very often, and because I have tenants in the apartment from time to time, I am not able to show the apartment. The pictures are recently taken, and everything is exactly how you see it in the pictures.

"Can I pay you in cash when I arrive and meet you at the apartment?"
I am often away from the city and cannot meet you in person at the apartment. When I ship the keys, I include detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment and instructions once there. I only accept advance payment by credit card, for your security and for mine.

"Can I pick up the keys from you in person?"
Because I am a frequent traveler, and am not in the city on a regular basis, it is nearly impossible to coordinate a key handoff. I ship using priority, trackable service (most of the time Fed Ex)-- which is a seamless way to get the keys and necessary details to you. I can ship ANYWHERE you specify--at my expense--and will provide a tracking # when shipped.

"I do not feel comfortable sending my credit card details, is there other method of payment?"
I only accept credit cards. Please see the post titled "Payment Security".

"Is the area safe?"
Most of Manhattan is very safe and the Lower East Side is very young, hip and bustling. As a young single woman in the neighborhood, I have never felt threatened or unsafe. As always, though, you should be aware of your surroundings.

"I already reserved the apartment, can I shorten my stay?"
All changes to the dates MUST be made BEFORE the ship date listed on your agreement. After the ship date, you are responsible for entire duration of the reservation.

"We love the apartment, can we stay longer?"
Only if the dates are available.

"Can I check-out later than the time on my contract?"
All early check-in times (before 12PM) or late check-out times (after 2PM) MUST be made before the reservation is made. If prior arrangements have not been approved, the times listed are firm.
